From the academic year 2014-15 the institute formed active Staff Council. The teaching staff of the college has elected Prof. L. F. Shirale as a secretary of the staff council. The Staff Council plays a very important role in the development of the college. Institute’s staff council is very active and meetings are held under the chairperson of Hon. Principal Dr. P. D. Hudekar the Principal takes review about curricular, co- curricular, and extra- curricular activities of each department. These meetings are helpful for Principal to understand staff’s problems and queries and Hon. Principal takes initiatives to solve the problems. The staff council point out problematic issues regarding the development of college and also tries to solve. The minutes of the meetings are recorded by the secretary.
In this way staff council plays a vital role in the development of the college. The Principal has rights to call meetings whenever it is necessary. It also maintains sound relations between staff and administration. It also takes the various decisions with the permission of the Principal regarding the progress and development of the college and takes lot of efforts to implement all the decisions taken in the meeting. It also maintains a cooperative spirit within college governance. It advises the management about step to be taken for the development of the college.
